Integrating Technology in your Classroom Windows Lab


This workshop provided an overview of how SMART boards are being used to support early primary education classrooms that include students who are AAC users and those who use alternate access.

 

It demonstrated:

1.  how AAC software can be used to support language aided stimulation during large group instruction

2.  how AAC software can be used to support multiple means of representation when integrated with SMART notebook  software.

3  examples of activities created in Boardmaker Plus and Classroom Suite for whole class instruction during morning    circle

 

Participants were provided with hands on experience with the features used to create the activities and with adaptations used for alternate access with the SMART board.
